Lewis Hamilton expressed his satisfaction with Ferrari’s performance at the Austrian Grand Prix, calling the weekend a clear step forward. Finishing fourth behind teammate Charles Leclerc, the seven-time world champion highlighted the impact of recent upgrades.
“That’s mega progress for us as a team today,” Hamilton said, noting that even small improvements on paper translated to big gains on track.
While he admitted to still battling car balance issues during the race, Hamilton was upbeat about the direction Ferrari is heading. “We’re not a minute down on McLaren and that’s positive,” he added.
A discovered issue with his brakes also pointed to more potential gains, boosting confidence within the team.
